I think I will cap at 20 schools total. No more.
I feel so behind whenever you post your progress. I was planning to send all my apps out after my DEC score, but now I feel maybe I should start now... but I feel like that blaring low OCT 2012 score will just kill my chances if I send them
How low is low? At the very least send out Penn. They tend to be more forgiving of lower numbers.
To be honest, I sent my apps out to the likes of Chicago and Columbia because I strongly believe my softs (work experience) help mitigate my low LSAT score. Besides, the record shows these schools do not start sending out decisions until January. Chicago was forever late last year. People didn't hear back until April or so.

160, which wouldn't be all that bad if I had the GPA to offset it. I think I'll go ahead and send Penn and Cornell.

Just USC, BU and Cardozo.
Girl, I found out the Canadian schools had a November 1 deadline when I spoke to them at the LSAC forum. They wanted me to get my transcript and LORs to them in under two weeks and I could not transmit via LSAC's website. I had no choice but to bench that plan.
Did you send any out yet?

1 year as a probation officer, 1 1/2 years working and pretty much building the Mental Health Court in North Fl. 2 years out of undergrad. No KJD for me lol.
My WE is pretty weak though, compared to TFA and all that.

Just got an invite to interview with a Vandy alum. He is a VP and General Counsel at Goldman Sachs. Freaking out.

Wow congrats. That's pretty awesome. What are your stats, if you don't mind me asking?

I did my Vandy interview a few weeks ago. It was pretty casual. I wouldn't stress over it.

I'm not so worried about the interview but moreso about it being at Goldman Sachs. It's my dream employer and where I would love to be in-house counsel.

How long did it take for you to get the invite? I requested an interview last week and haven't heard anything

I am 2 years out of school now. Anyone know of any T10-t20 schools that are worth applying to because of big money like a full ride? I know previously someone mentioned USC.

Two days. I submitted my app on 11/5, went complete 11/6 and got the message today.
Maybe it's due to location that I've had such quick turnaround? I'm in NYC.

How could we possibly tell you where you have a chance of a full ride without knowing your numbers?

Nope, they do not. Toronto has their own system that you have to apply to and McGill is separate. You apply via their website online.
They need to partner with LSAC if they wish to recruit more US applicants. The other foreign country that was at the LSAC forum was Australia. University of Melbourne has a JD program. Pretty cool.

If you get into Northwestern via ED, they'll give you 50K/year. It's not a full ride, but it's a solid chunk of change.

I don't think your eligible for US financial aid if you go to school outside of the country.
One of my reasons for not applying to UofToronto, because working in Toronto would be sick
