I'm interviewing for anbryce on the 1st I believe. If I get it I'm going but I have to have a what-if I don't get it plan.
go to the asw's, see which strikes your fancy more
if neither, flip a coin .... haha
as far as I can tell the differences really aren't meaningful
Definitely get a feel for each school,
As someone at HLS who desperately wishes he could've gotten into Yale, I generally believe that Yale provides better options (due to small class size, etc.). But if you find you don't like the environment there as much as Harvard, HLS is not a bad alternative.
All else being equal though, I'd have to vote Yale.

even considering the loan repayment? it's a tough decision and you have insight that others don't so what exactly do you think you're missing out on?

I don't think, I know
To the HLS v. YLS question - you're going to have loans no matter which of those two you choose. The odds are heavily in your favor that you'll get a six figure paying biglaw firm job if you go to Yale, or you'll work public interest and IBR will keep your loans manageable.
You WILL be able to pay off Yale, if you go there. DO IT.

Ok the end of my cycle is near and the choice might be made for me, but I will ask for help in this decision,.... I am in at Cardozo with significant $ and it could and should increase. I am waiting to hear from Fordham about the pt eve program. If I go to cardozo will need to take COL out, and If I go to Fordham I expect to pay sticker. So my decision is choose Cardozo and 3 year finish, or go to Fordham pay sticker but keep day job and make good money, but less study time? I plan on staying in NY and have pretty strong connects but greater savy so I will use my resources after law school to assist with job search. Any suggestions?

Is it a evil move to pay a seat deposit at a School you may not attend because its your 2nd choice and the deadline will pass before your hear from your first choice?

That depends on what you plan on doing after law school. If BIGLAW I would go with Fordham, even at sticker. Its third best in law firm placements after Columbia and NYU amongst NYC schools. To your advantage you will be working during your years of study to offset some of what you will owe upon completion your degree. Also noteworthy is the fact that you'll still be active in the workforce and build on your resume. Not bad at all, especially when it comes to OCI (on campus interviews) your 2L. Whether or not BIGLAW is your end-goal, Fordham is your best bet.

Lmao... yes I do. And then later, I was so excited for my first T14 option I almost passed out. Amazing opportunities ahead of us.
