It's very strange to me how these waivers work. I got Chicago with a 155. Were they looking for someone to auto-deny?

I am a dude, fwiw. I don't think I'm comparing myself to Caucasians. The URM in question last year didn't list their ethnicity, but here are their results: http://lawschoolnumbers.com/whisperinthewind. This guy also didn't get into HLS and he is AA. His LSAT is a bit lower but his GPA is significantly higher than mine: http://lawschoolnumbers.com/jediwannabe

My original question actually wasn't about retaking- although I've asked that in other threads and appreciate people's feedback to the extent that it isn't "What, you're crazy, you must not have looked at LSN because you're a lock at school XYZ." It was about URMs who had received JS1s at Harvard. I had heard that we tend to hear back later in the cycle, but was interested in whether any URMs had gotten interview invites/ were feeling the love from JS earlier than normal. I also wondered what their numbers were if they didn't mind sharing.

There is definitely something that schools uniformly didn't like about jediwannabe that resulted in across the board waitlists. He or she probably knows this reason. It is disappointing they didn't specify what that reason is for receiving such perplexing results. I am guessing he just "winged it" and didn't put much effort into his applications.

Jediwannabe is by far the most perplexing MyLSN profile I have ever come across. What gets me is that he did get accepted to UC Berkeley and Stanford so clearly his app wasn't completely terrible, but waitlists from all of CCNMVP isn't replicated by ANY other profile I've seen on the site.

I submitted my last few apps in mid-September. It's starting to get real now. I feel like once I get my first acceptance, my anxiety will subside tremendously.

Srs question guys. In the box on the apps where it asks you to list other schools you are applying to did you all do that? Like telling W&M that I'm applying to Duke doesn't seem smart.

I've been getting "your app is complete" emails the last few days, and the realization that it is now totally out of my hands has not been kind to my nerves.

Also, I got that awesome Yale packet today. I was daydreaming about New Haven until I saw that I'm right at both 25 percentiles.

I've been getting "your app is complete" emails the last few days, and the realization that it is now totally out of my hands has not been kind to my nerves.

I found the period immediately after app submittal to be less stressful than the days leading up to sending out apps. For me, it's now at the point where it's 2x stressful as pre-apps.
