Anybody know what the follow-up interview consists of?

For anyone that has interviewed, did you ask about a timeline?

I've got a summer job set to start mid-May, but SEO would obviously mean I'm going to have to bail on the other job, which would put them in a very bad spot.

I know I'm a long shot for SEO but in trying to be up-front and honest with everyone.

I just received an SEO interview invite-- would anyone mind sharing their experience/questions/etc?

Note: I've been lurking around here for a while but not really posting because my cycle is just starting to heat up.

I really really wish SEO and similar programs would simply, simply put on their website one sentence, "All decisions will be rendered by X Month, Day, Year." Imagine how much easier it would be not to be playing this guessing game?

I've heard, insofar as other SEO opportunities are concerned, that they may expedite your decision if you indicate you have other standing offers on the table but I'm not so sure that it applies here.

That would take all the fun out of it. I've heard not to expect anything until April at the earliest.

Have you peeps received confirmation that the materials SEO requested in this email have been received?

Got no confirmation whatsoever. Seems to be SEO's style.

Do we think there is any substantive significance behind the material requests a couple weeks ago? Or am I just looking for something to read into (as usual)?

I don't think anyone reported not getting the resume request, so I assume it went out to everyone who applied? I don't know for sure, though.

How long after your initial interview did it take to hear about a follow up interview or anything?

Interview was this morning. Not really sure what to think. Don't think it was my best effort, could have answered things a little better. Stumbled over myself a few more times than I would have liked. Should have scheduled it for later in the day instead of first thing in the morning. Guess we hope for the best at this point.

I got the resume request, but is there a reason why some are saying that no request = denial? Is this based on what happened to applicants in the past? When I got the request, I just assumed that they just wanted some people to reformat theirs since SEO likes things to be in a uniform way for their firms/partners?

Whoops. I was just kidding. I would assume Atmosphere and I did not get the request because our resumes were already formatted properly and SEO is giving applicants an opportunity to reformat their resumes.

Edit: And again per sources don't expect anything until April.

That's interesting when I was told yesterday it would be mid-April before any decisions were made.

That's what I heard as well. Maybe they're one of those "other pending offer" examples?

I also have not received a resume request after interviewing Mar 11th. I've been a little concerned since my close friend (who also applied and interviewed) received one, and her resume was formatted essentially the same way. Hopefully there's nothing to this

How long was her resume? How long was yours?
