Hi hi hi 0Ls!

I just finished my first semester at a T10. I hope your cycles are all going well. I remember feeling very stressed around this time of year regarding choosing which school I wanted to attend, and thinking about scholarship offers/negotiation season coming soon. If you all have any questions feel free to PM me - no guarantee I'll keep checking the thread.

Good luck!

WL @Penn, can't complain! I have a feeling my cycle has hit a bend and will be leaning more toward WL/R.

Sorry. Penn continues to not be particularly kind to URMs. :(

Anyone submit an updated transcript with fall grades? Does it matter if grades are essentially the same?

I submitted updated transcripts, even though my GPA fell like .04. You should probably just send them in because school's may ask to see them before making a decision anyways.

JS1s going out right now.
Don't know about any URMs. Anyone?

Ah, I wish. Every time a few JS1s show up in the H thread I start neurotically refreshing my email

When did you go complete, Harvette?

Just giving up on expecting a JS1 seems like the healthiest option right now

Sorry about this Tr3...onward and upward, right? And you know, ol' Penn there has a little bit of a rep w/r/t URMs...

Sorry Tr3. NYU is better anyway :)

Also I want to do a "relationship status when starting law school" poll, what should the options be?

Married
In a relationship, SO moving with me
In a relationship, SO not moving with me
Single

Does that pretty much cover it? Maybe I need to add a Facebook-esque "it's complicated" option, haha.

Are you screening for potential dates?

I'd send them. Schools feel more secure when they know your GPA didn't change much

Can there be a "depends on where I end up" option? SO is considering moving with me, but not if I move to a small town/somewhere relatively close.

Ages ago :(
But many JS1s were sent out end of January/February last cycle.

I'm a happily committed woman, haha. I got this poll suggestion from DiniMae a while back and I'm curious to see the results! If y'all want to find love in the URM thread though, that'd be fine too
