I won't say I would have been good with a role reversal on that one. I'll just say it's been a good cycle so far and I'm definitely going to law schools somewhere.

Thanks to all too. This thread has been supportive and it's nice to celebrate the success of strangers and share their frustration. My cycle is actually a miracle in every sense of the word though so I'm going to be thankful and hope everyone else gets the options they want.

I don't remember Penn. I think I went complete in January. I know I was HLS complete on 12/6 or so and JS1 1/9

The fact that you got waitlisted at Penn but still got a JS1 gives me hope. Seems like there are a lot of qualified AA's who flood CCNPVM with applications but hold off on YHS thinking they don't have a shot.

+1. Waitlisted today and I'm starting to get anxious about the other schools I haven't heard from yet (NYU, Chicago, Harvard and Stanford).

I think you should remind them of this the next time they invite you to give to the Penn Fund. I certainly will after I get my WL or ding, but I applied so late I have no right to expect anything more.

Penn definitely seems to know exactly who they want. Consulting LSN, I found 7 URM applicants this cycle between 3.6-3.8 and 164-168 and all 7 were WL. Of the 10 folks in that range who are showing for H, 9 of the 10 have been admitted.

Definitely, man. I feel like Penn and Berkeley have been very selective this cycle with who they want. Penn was honestly my top choice going into this cycle, too.

According to LSN, there's usually a huge wave of URM acceptances from around 4/05-4/15!
