Thought I'd bring this thread back to life! Has anyone heard back from SEO since their interview? Any recommendation or photo requests? I'm pretty much just wondering what the next steps are from here. I had my interview a couple weeks back and I'm wondering if applications are pretty much on hold until we make seat deposits?

methinks you might have to wait until more people have deposited as well, might have to do with ensuring placement and everything

The earliest they made decisions last year was very late March/early April

From an anonymous source: "Things really heat up in April. He/she deposited later than most (~4/22/13) and they called later that day with an acceptance. Others deposited in late February/early March and didn't hear until just before them. I'm sure some ppl are accepted in March, but I doubt its an appreciable number. Once a lot of people start dropping deposits, things move fast. Until then, hang tight. No reason to be nervous until mid-April-ish. No reason to assume rejection until a few days after deposit deadlines hit (although there are late acceptances every year)."

Hi all! First time posting on this thread. Question: From what I'm reading, is it safe to assume that this program only accepts students heading to T14 schools? Also, what is the seat deposit everyone keeps posting about? Must you confirm what school you will attend by paying the school's fee before being offered a position?

No, they have extended offers to those headed to UTexas, GW, Vandy and Emory

Your seat deposit is the amount you have to pay to confirm your seat/attendance as an incoming 1L student (not all schools have this, ie Berkeley and Harvard). Yes, you will not receive an offer until you update SEO with an email/send in a copy of your seat deposit of where you will attend. I heard back from SEO about 5 days after I sent in details of where I deposited. You will get an acceptance via email. Uncertain if they also extend phone call offers as well.
