You should hang out around here more jlwx!

This week was very boring for my cycle.

Predictions for next week:

Yale: ???
Harvard: Lol, what is H even up to. I'll predict Tues calls because I feel optimistic.
Stanford: End of the week calls maybe.
Columbia: First admits mailed out??
Chicago: Please do another wave. Please.
NYU: Continues to be the most reliable and speedy of the T6, nobody is stressing over their NYU app hopefully.
Penn: Decision Friday, I guess.
UVA: Please send me my waitlist so I can admit you hate me and move on.
Berkeley: Dings for the people not pushed to FR?
Michigan: Idk, Michigan's cool. More admits and more money. Hopefully they send out registration info for ASW.
Duke: More weird YP priority reserve, probably more PT acceptances. Everyone not PT grows ever more impatient and resentful, vows to attend Mich/NU instead.
NU: Decision Wednesday? Give the people what they want. Particularly LC. Give me what I want.
Cornell: Maybe my letter will finally get to my place? I was admitted over a month ago, lol. More weird robot interviews and more acceptances inevitably.

Anyone else have thoughts/predictions? Will Harvard have a class of 50 students this year? Only time will tell!

xoxo LC

Hello everyone, checking in. Got the call from Penn yesterday! Very surprised, as I only went complete early December and UR1 on January 12. Reverse splitter, stats under my username in the spreadsheet. Congrats to all other recent admits!

Congrats!

And I was mostly kidding about the meet up. I was just hoping I would get to meet some of you at the ASWs.

This was super awesome LC. Here's my predictions:

I think Yale wakes up from their long slumber and calls a few folks end of the week. I actually think that Harvard is due for some Hold/WL/Ding activity, so that could be coming in front of a round of sweet JS2's. Should be more activity from Northwestern as well. My big one is that I think that Columbia is ready to admit some RD folks and will send some acceptances this week.

On the personal front, I am ready for Michigan to put me out of my misery. Why prolong it? I applied in September.

At this point, I'd literally faint if I received a JS1

I'd probably just laugh at this point. And then this semi-grown man would cry. This cycle hasn't been kind and that would suddenly make things better.

Maybe it's best if someone next year doesn't make a spreadsheet, bad karma. At least that's what I'm gonna call it.

This is great. Duke needs to start admitting some none PT people, I wrote them a Why Duke and everything.. Maybe I should send it a late app to Michigan? I'd probably still hear before any of the other schools i applied to

Why would the spreadsheet be bad karma?

TLS has turned me into a spreadsheetholic
Was an attempt at making a joke about the current state of my cycle.

Well, then, for your safety, try to stay seated as much as possible, because your JS1 is coming. You know that in the past three years 8 out of 9 AA's with your approximate stats have gotten H. Not guaranteed, but it looks good from this vantage point, short of you calling JS a name in your interview.

Mich has been churning out their scholly offers fairly quickly too, which is nice of them.
