In at Berkeley! 8 for 10 so far; only hold out is USC. Not sure I care to wait to get off of Penn's waitlist.

So based on last year's TLS data, finalists for NYU's AnBryce scholarship were notified on the 23rd of last February, so hopefully notifications will be coming out soon for those who applied. Just a heads up, good luck!

Thanks for the heads up! I applied and it would definitely make my decision harder if I would offered one of them. Cautiously optimistic at this point.

From what I heard from a previous recipient, approx 100 or so students apply on average before acceptances are out. Those who don't get admitted to NYU are obviously dropped from consideration. The remaining number is thinned to about 30 or so finalists and there are spots for about 10 scholars. Sounds like decent odds to me...

To those with full ride offers, please know that I can't stop thinking about all the shit I'd do if I graduated from law school with "zero" debt and a damn good chance at pocketing $160,000+ 3 years from now. Much of it wouldn't be spent on me, but still, the thought leaves me with a 2 sec blank stare that's followed by a couple seconds of shaking my head back and forth. smh. lol


Good luck to the URMs that are like me and that can't wait until this never-ending process is over.
