Also on another note, is anyone working here? Or are most spending their days waiting for decisions? Or both?

As an old man, I toil every day for the man. But, I'd say I still spend about half my work day obsessively checking TLS, refreshing status checkers, and fumbling with LSN/mylsn.

Thanks for the condolences, y'all. I'm about to send my withdraw request.

I'm pretty sure the non-priority WL is a nice rejection. Not sure why they do it, doesn't really make sense, especially because they explicitly state in the letter that if they move to the WL they will take people from the preferred WL. The email basically says: "we think you're ok, but there are others who are more ok than you, so choose another school."

To be fair, it doesn't say "non-priority WL", but it does say that you're not on the "Preferred WL".

Pretty much. Greek letter organizations. L is for Latino and B for Black.

Oh I've never heard of those acronyms before today...never been used among any of my friends, even those who are part of Greek letter orgs!

I have some friends in LGLOs - it seems to be different than the standard fare and generally useful. Definitely not the same kind of social stratification issues involved (which are majorly where my criticism lies).

Also, the Chicago admit site credentials went out this morning, so they may be doing another round of admits soon.

And hopefully Chicago graces us waiters with some news soon. Very anxious!!! Wahrheit, you're very lucky to be out of the waiters pool.

Yeah, I would say cultural GLOs are very different than what you would see in the movies/news about Greeks.
