Interviewed w/Chicago today, it went fairly well I think/hope, definitely more professional and time-restricted than UVA was.
Grats 90! (and anybody else I missed!)

I've actually never seen that show! I'm currently binge re-watching Friends on Netflix. Also eagerly awaiting the return of How to Get Away with Murder.Tr3 wrote:lol I was just watching Archer and so I read the exchange between Wahrheit and LC in the voices of Archer and Lana. Hmmm.... I have a love/hate relationship with HTGAWM. I think mostly because it's so similar to legally blonde. But I still watch it, and I am pretty much obligated to support anything that Shonda Rhimes produces. So yup, I'll be watching the winter premier. =)lc39 wrote:I've actually never seen that show! Oh it's definitely love hate. I work in criminal defense right now so it's actually kind of funny sometimes how the show gets it wrong/super exaggerates things but I know (probably) no one believes the show is true to life and it is so popcorn-munching good!Tr3 wrote:Hmmm.... Re: URM 2014-2015 Cycle Thread
They both have 1Ls compete for a highly coveted position with the professor's firm. There is an underdog (Elle, Wes) who 'shouldn't' be at the school (Elle into Harvard? Wes in off WL). Everyone is skeptical about the defendant's guilt/innocence, except for the underdog who (seemingly) blindly advocates for her due to their friendship. Underdog ends up impressing everyone, others are jealous, but then they end up being friends. I feel like there were some other connections, too. I just felt like HTGAWM was so unoriginal in the first couple of episodes that it made a bad impression on me. That being said, still addicted. lolYaaaas2013 wrote:

I think everyone ITT is either a student or working full-time (I'm in the latter group) but not 100% sure.Harvette wrote:Congrats!

As an old man, I toil every day for the man. But, I'd say I still spend about half my work day obsessively checking TLS, refreshing status checkers, and fumbling with LSN/mylsn.Harvette wrote:Congrats!

I work and thank goodness for that. I already spend all my time here. If I didn't work, I would do nothing but check my status checkers and TLS in between Gilmore Girls episodes.Harvette wrote:Congrats!

Re: URM 2014-2015 Cycle Thread
I have a minimal course load and I'm not working, so I'm fully neurotic with checking my email/TLS for news of acceptances
