So I'm not sure what I should do.

I got a 3.65/158.

I wanted to get around a 165 but I clearly didn't do enough practice for the logic games which killed me, so I'm gonna retake again in December, BUT I'm wondering whether I should apply early at some of the schools where I'm either at, around, or above median at, like SMU/Houston/etc. in the mean time, just incase I get a similar or worse score the next time around? And then just wait until the new scores come in order to decide whether I want to take a shot at T14?

If I get into those schools now, and then retake and get a higher score, can I use those scores to leverage more scholarship $$$ or am I better off waiting until I get the second score?

I'm not a prestige whore, and really just want to get out of a decent school in my area (preferrable UT, SMU or Houston) with little or no debt.

Thanks for any advice.

3.5X/ 173 here. I posted in the chances thread but haven't gotten a lot of replies yet.

Hoping for YHS or a full ride somewhere in the T14. How are my odds?

AA male. The LSAT is a retake from a score in the mid 160s. GPA upward trend. I don't know if any of that matters.

Odds seem very good. It's pretty rare for AA males to have a 3.5+ and score higher than a 170. I'd say you're pretty set.

I didnt get any until like 1-2 weeks later. If you really need them now, people have been emailing schools since last night. It's worth a shot.

You are good money. ith your stats you have a solid shot at rull rides for the top 14.

Hey! I got a 161 for October (first take). With a 3.8ish gpa do you think I still have a shot at t14?

I'm thinking of retaking but it'll be right around finals and I'd really like to keep my gpa where it is.

Do you guys think I need to write a Why X for every school I plan to apply to? I wrote ones for UVA and Georgetown. But don't really want to for GW.
