Okay, okay. Maybe we should discuss whether there is a statistical difference in LSAT/GPA performance between LGBT and non-LGBT? It would be an interesting study. We do have the numbers on TLS to compare, although the self-selecting nature of the site makes the samples unreliable for representativeness (even assuming that TLS is somewhat representative of competitive applicants as a whole).YCrevolution wrote:In theory, as a mod, I should warn you all that this needs to be on-topic, although a thread with Grindr/Manhunt in the title leaves a pretty broad discussion opening.YCrevolution wrote:In other news, y'all have really high LSATs and GPAs. I think the solution is to improve our skillz at doing both.Kretzy wrote:I mean, or we could make homo-erotic jokes.BenJ wrote:Okay, okay. Seriously, I hope the non-LGBTs aren't intimidated by the size of our LSAT scores.

I dunno about unrepresentativeness...i mean, gays are the next stage in human evolution.BenJ wrote:Okay, okay. in my modern philosophy class, i tried to clarify my criticism of some irrelevant point that some feminist philosopher made by referencing the rise of gay culture in the 90's and how it led to greater superficiality in straight men, which can be seen with the boom of stores like A&F/AE/Express/Guess etc. when my teacher asked why straight men were affected by gay men, i had a brain fart and couldnt think of a legitimate-sounding philosophical reason, so i responded "because gays are superior to breeders." Needless to say, i got an A in the class.

1) This thread is amazing.
2) Grindr makes me want to buy an iphone. Perhaps I will once I move away for law school and have to leave a neighborhood with ~20 bars within walking distance.
3) Because I'm a living stereotype I'm totally into interior design. As such, I've read a lot about Noguchi and even own one of his tables. This knowledge helped me to make sense of the December LSAT RC. Awesome.

I don't think I've ever seen such a high concentration of YHS-types in a non school-related thread before.

What is this, Will and Grace? The only place I've ever seen real gays order anything -tini has been in LA, though I suppose my data group is pretty self selected.jay115 wrote:what, we cant become more stereotypical? decided against martinis and appletinis, did we?Kretzy wrote:As will buying us gin and tonics.ccs224 wrote:Flattery will get you everywhere.f0bolous wrote:I don't think I've ever seen such a high concentration of YHS-types in a non school-related thread before.
