to be fair, i'd have said the same thing if emory were ranked in the lower 20s. i guess i meant T30 with substantial/full-ride scholarship. everything past USC down to ~T30 is more or less the same.

Do T30s even offer substantial scholarships, if you're not "special"?

Not to worry. My school just posted an extremely useful link for recent graduates (LinkRemoved) on its financial aid website.

I just heard from my friend who graduated Valedictorian in his class from Yale, and he was offered a 40k PY job doing doc-reviews in the basement of an insurance defense firm, and he was happy to take it. The other option was to cook and eat his JD.

I would attend any school that gets me a license to practice law. Two reasons:

1. I'm independently wealthy so I'm not worried about tuition
2. I'm opening my own practice so I don't need to worry about impressing some deutschebag who cares more about my degree name than my inate ability to drum up business and clients

Not working per se. Unpaid intern. And there have been complaints about her McAttitude.

I wanted to do clown college myself, but the bimodal salary distribution scared me off.

McDonalds is probably worth it, I imagine they send her to Ronald McDonald Culinary school for free.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
