But didn't someone say it's about 20 minutes away from WRJ?coolkatz321 wrote:
Beautiful, yes, but the inside is pretty lacking. I thought the college was beautiful too when I visited, but it's literally in the middle of nowhere-- the town has less than 2500 residents and there's nothing to do. Great environmental school, though.

Their library makes me swoon. Well, both of those, actually.bizzlemywizzle wrote:The prettiest in the T-14 are Cornell and Michigan.

Have you been to Lewis and Clark? I haven't had a chance to visit -- I'm in Michigan. But is it really as awesome as the pictures suggest?
The answer is Yes, L&C is that awesome. Feels like they stuck the school in the woods. And yet you are minutes from downtown Portland.

Gee, I remember that happy leafy green place ... all not covered in two feet of snow and all ... seems like only years ago now.dbt wrote:There's just no comparison to Michigan (besides Yale):

This thread is awesome.
Does anyone have any pics of the W&M law building, by the way? I always see pics of the main campus, but I can never find anything on the law school (which might be a bad sign).

No love for Loyola's modern abortion of a law school? C'mon it looks like crap and is located in downtown LA!

These pictures are misleading. The campus is extremely bland and in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Barren wasteland.coolkatz321 wrote:I never know if I should put the emphasis on the "n" or the "pi." For a T3 law school, that's beautiful.Cal4future wrote:--ImageRemoved--

I obviously hate it but maybe there's someone who finds modern/postmodern/crap beautiful?

This last one was the inspiration for the Gehry if I am not mistaken.

Actually, does anyone have picture's of the Illinois' campus? I plan on visiting in March, so I'll take some pictures, but does anyone have pics they'd be willing to post?

Stylistically Loyola is pretty gnarly. The campus itself is immaculate and in that respect stands out from the section of downtown it occupies.

+1. I'd really like to view pictures of the campus--particularly the law facilities. Perhaps we should ask Pless?coolkatz321 wrote:Actually, does anyone have picture's of the Illinois' campus? this is the worst of the buildings at Loyola IMO. It looks like Gehry was inspired by the ancient Greeks and Romans to recreate my junior high gym.

Re: Best Campus / Law Building?
was anyone else really surprised to learn Northwestern Law is in downtown Chicago off Lake shore dr, and not in Evanston??
My extended family lives in Evanston and it's the first college I ever lusted for. So I was slightly... jolted... to learn the law school is smack in the middle of urban chicago. it took a while to root out the photos on the site, which was notable. let us compare:
evanston, main campus:

law campus, downtown (20-30 min away? by L or car)
virtual tour (360 stuff) http://www.law.northwestern.edu/mainpag ... /img2.html

still very nice, and lake shore drive is basically the ultimate.
also, i cannot find interior photos of univ of san diego. should i be worried about that?
