On MBA Programs and Law Schools

Hello,

I have heard that in addition to being able to cross register for MBA courses, that at a few law schools, it is possible to have an easier time getting into the MBA program at the university as a law student (presumably for joint JD/MBA) then it is as an outside applicant? If so, when have you seen a law student get a boost at getting into their universities MBA program as a result of being at the universities law school?
