GMU 65k or GW 161k?
I'm interested in JAG work and down the road I'd like to council national security and diplomatic agencies. My LSAT was low 170's. I applied to all the typical schools, but got lots of WL's. GMU and GW are currently my two options in DC, which is really where I think I need to be for this career. I know GW is higher ranked, so its a safer bet, but at this price tag, is it worth it?
These COA estimates don't take into account interest or the fact that I should make a few bucks in the Summers.

What’s your GPA? With an LSAT in the low 170s you should have better options.

These are rough results with those numbers. Apply beginning of next cycle. I suspect it’ll be worth it.

Your numbers are way too good for these options. Sit out the cycle and reapply. You should be going to GW free next year or looking at T14-20 options easily. Really urge you to wait it out.

Yeah, back around 2015/2016 I applied with 3.72 and 176 and got offers from all around the T14 and ended up going to Harvard.
It sounds like this was a ridiculous cycle, so definitely reapply early next year.

Sitting out is certainly an option. I'm worried about next year, however. If it is just as competitive, then I gave up a year of JAG salary for similar results.
