okay. I am gonna post this stupid question again because i am in a chaos making this decision. crap.
if the scholarship offers were the SAME , where would you choose?
-international student
-cant retake
-K-JD
-aiming for Biglaw wherever
-no preference in any field of law
-dont care whether the school is in a big city or in the middle of some miserable cornfield
-money from relatives(no interest rate)
-love the ranking
-may go back to my home country some day
and the reason this decision is so hard for me;
NU: i cant give up the city vibe+higher ranking(dont judge me, i know this is weird)+laid back atmosphere
Cornell: Ivy League( i know this doesnt mean anything..crap) + NYC biglaw placement
i know theres no wrong answer but i just want my choice to be the best one.. thanks in advance!

What if the rankings change while you are in or after you are out of law school?

youve got a real good point here. so i looked up past rankings of both schools last month(creepy..i know) and Cornell was almost always #13, and Northwestern has been moving upward since like the year 2000.poptart123 wrote:What if the rankings change while you are in or after you are out of law school?
i know this doesnt guarantee future rankings but im just playing the devils advocate here

It seems like you'd be happier at NU, so I would personally take that. However, even if it's relatives loaning you money (so no interest), do think about scholarships. Sticker price is still a LOT to pay back, even without interest.
