Why is there so much anti-Columbia, pro-Chicago trolling in this thread? They are clearly peer schools. Is it because there are more TLS celebrities who go to CLS than UC?

Its trolling. Everyone knows the schools are peers. A few years ago a few people were saying the same thing about Columbia as beating Chicago when it was 4 and Chicago was 5 and no one reasonable paid attention. People still pay too much attention to the survey.

Also CLS #1 in employment.

Boalt's up:

https://www.law.berkeley.edu/wp-content ... 2-2017.pdf

164 BL + 39 FC out of 330 total grads = 61.5%

Now just missing NYU, UT, and USC from top 20.

389 grads
6 in firms 101-150
38 in 251-500
258 in 501+
19 fed clerks

6+38+258=302+19 clerks=321
321/389= 82.5

Had to double check to make sure I wasn't going crazy, like "where'd 150-250 lawyer firms go?!" Simple typo, but for some reason it immediately caught my eye and made me double check that employment summaries weren't glaringly missing a segment of the market. Sorry for the random aside.

distance between Columbia and U(T)Chicago should be farther
You also have Cornell erroneously next to the T20 schools when it should be Yale there

right. thanks. petty note but I was including all persons at 101-249 firms (which was 7, since there's one FT/ST and I think I know who that person is/what their circumstances are)

Also I don't think you added Michigan which someone mentioned earlier:

https://www.law.umich.edu/careers/class ... of2016.pdf

175 BL + 42 FC out of 327 total grads = 66.4%

Emory is actually 30.28% and William and Mary is 24%.

You're like the 10th person in this thread to get the numbers slight wrong -- so what is it: can people not do 7th grade math or are we not including the same categories? BL+FC = firms over 101 attorneys + federal clerkships, and nothing else.

Are you guys adding in mid-sized firms and/or state clerkships or something? I refuse to believe that this is a math issue.
