George Mason ($$$) v. Washington & Lee ($$) v. Wake Forest ($$)
Unsure of career goals 100%, but have always been interested in immigration law, constitutional law, and criminal law (which coincidentally overlap a good bit). Thoughts? I'm from Alabama, getting my B.A. in Mississippi and want to live in the DC or NYC area long-term. I have the highest scholarship offer at George Mason, closely followed by W&L, then Wake Forest. Amount is almost negligible, though.

If wanting to be a PD or DA in VA with a shot at DC, George Mason is the most defensible choice here. If wanting a job that pays more but is in the sectors of immigration, constitutional, and criminal law...none of them. And none of them if you want NYC.
What is your COA at all three, just for reference?

COA at George Mason would be $37,000/year. COA at W&L would be around $53,000/year, and Wake Forest around $57,000/yearUVA2B wrote:If wanting to be a PD or DA in VA with a shot at DC, George Mason is the most defensible choice here. None of them. That's catastrophic debt for all three.dazedNconfused69 wrote:COA at George Mason would be $37,000/year.
