Facts. Plenty of politicos go to plenty of different kinds of law schools. If you want national offices, then elite schools are probably the best bet. I feel like we should have a sticky thread for the topic of discussion of this kind. I'm tired of always seeing "should i take full scholarship at t13 or go pay 100K at HYS?"
