UF v GW v BU v BC v Fordham
As you can see I am all over the place. I could go to UF with no debt or any of the other above mentioned schools for about 90K debt. I am only 20 and therefore do not have a good idea of my career goals. I am not sure about big law. I think I would like a government job in Washington DC, but like I said im not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of government job do you think you would want in DC? And what very broad career goals do you have beyond "lawyer"?

If you want DC or anything outside of Florida, then I don't think UF is the way to go. They have very low placement anywhere outside of the state. The same thing could also be said about Fordham because it mostly restricts you to New York and gives you a shot at New Jersey.
If you are set on DC, then GW is the way to go as it has much better placement there than the rest of the schools on your list. You say you aren't sure about big law or even totally set on job location, so I personally think BU is the way to go. It will give you a decent shot at biglaw and give you the most portability out of the other schools on your list. BC is also decent for biglaw, but lags slightly behind BU in placement outside of MA.
BU with a 90K COA sounds like a good deal to me.

Please don't go to law school when you're 20. You will regret it.

Go take a couple years off. Move somewhere cool. Get a job where you can get real world experience and save up some money. Have fun. Get some perspective. Retake the LSAT. Then go back to school.l3g@l33s3 wrote:As you can see I am all over the place. I could go to UF with no debt or any of the other above mentioned schools for about 90K debt. You don't seem to have a great grasp on stuff now. Your question, on its own, shows that.

BC is the best out of the bunch for biglaw placement, but it doesn't sound like that is what you are shooting for. GW is probably the best for government work.

Don't go to law school until you have a more concrete understanding of legal employment.
