Which law schools have the best gyms?
Not that we're going to use this metric to pick which lawl school we go to but...
Which law schools have the best gyms? Especially T14?
Considering the fact I probably won't be able to afford additional gyms...
Any law schools have gyms with bags for kickboxing/boxing as well?

My brother is doing UG at Mizzou and he says their gym is considered to be one of the best college gyms in the country and it has a designated boxing gym, whether or not you should go is another story though.

IU Bloomington has two gyms. One is pretty old but not bad and the newer one is really nice.
Anyone know what Michigan's gym is like?

UCI definitely has one of the best gyms. And yes, there are bags for kickboxing and free classes too.

CLS gym is weird (it's not law-school specific). It's just a big underground space, but most of the cardio/weight equipment is crammed into narrow rooms that go around the edge. The weight room is downright dangerous due to limited space.Thelaw23 wrote:What's the gym there like?dabigchina wrote:Not CLS

Yep, I've had idiots run into me while I was squatting.nealric wrote:The weight room is downright dangerous due to limited space.Thelaw23 wrote:What's the gym there like?dabigchina wrote:Not CLS

Not UVAs. I stopped going to the one by the law school because there were two squat racks and two bench presses. Then I went to undergrad and found there were zero bench presses

Penn's is acceptable and close to the law school, but often pretty crowded. Also, it's like ~$20/month, which is lame.

WUSTL's gym is pretty nice (we just had a new one open this year), although crawling with undergrads.

Texas Tech's and UT's are both incredible. Tech has the largest lazy river on a college campus and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to do anything from tire flips to suicides to wall climbing to racquetball. UT just has all around good equipment, great weight rooms, and a decent climbing wall, but I note it for sheer range of activities and ease of use.

Not T14, but Minnesota's is pretty nice (went there for undergrad). They basically just doubled the size of the rec center, so there are multiple weight rooms, millions of cardio machines, an indoor track, pools, steam room, spinning studios, yoga studios, etc etc.

UCI has TWO gyms so if one side is crowded, you just walk over to the other one. Facilities are new too.

NYU is solid. They're renovating Coles, so we're temporarily using another, solidly new space. Also, hot undergrads.

FOH, NYU is probably the only private school that only has ONE functional basketball court (shared by men's & women's varsity, students, faculty, alumni etc) dwelling in the underground of Palladium. And even if you combine Palladium, 404 Lafayette and BK site, NYU probably has less than 100 treadmills & elliptical cross trainers.nunumaster wrote:NYU is solid. We don't know what Coles gonna look like once its renovated, but its safe to say gym-wise NYU is nowhere near "best".
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
