also, applied very late in the cycle with solid stats, and there were other T6 schools that I missed deadlines for. How strongly should I consider waiting a year?
Not entirely sure what kind of law I want to go into yet.

Yeah need more info. Especially if you're competitive for T6 (which it seems you are because of Chicago acceptance), I'd definitely say skip this cycle and apply early next.

Definitely sit out and apply early next cycle. Really isn't hard to do, but you are pretty much guaranteed better outcomes (More scholarship money and maybe more acceptances). Don't handicap yourself for no reason.
