George Washington University or Washington University in St. Louis
Hi all,
My brother and I are looking for advise to choose between George Washington University (GWU) or Washington University in St. Louis (WUSL) for his Masters. Both universities are very closely ranked (25 - GWU and 18 - WUSL respectively per US news). His interest is in criminal law.
I think future job perspective would be better in Washington and hence we are inclining towards GWU. Any advise would be highly appreciated.
Main points of consideration:
- better education
- future job opportunities
Thanks a lot,
Punit

The information you have given so far is not even close to sufficient to help your brother out.

Let's assume he's talking about a masters in law or an LLM. Either way, both aren't great options.TheMikey wrote:I wanted to say something about "masters" but I let it slide hahapsu2016 wrote:"My brother and I"?

sorry for not clarifying earlier. My background isn't in law and thought masters in law means LLM.
My brother needs to select one among the mentioned universities for his LLM course.

I would probably choose WUSTL if he wants to go to a US law school without taking the LSATS. I think WUSTL has a program where LLM students can automatically start as a 1L after their LLM year if they get certain grades in law school.
I don't think any other school has that other than WUSTL.
