Duke ($$) vs. Georgetown ($$$)
Duke is offering 81k and GULC is offering 127.5k
GULC's latest employment numbers seem dismal
But I eventually want to work in DC at some point and is the hub of my long-term interests (international relations).
Please help me choose!

Someone is going to post this so I might as well do it. It would be a big help if you could fill out some of the information this thread asks for.
"In order to receive the best feedback in this forum, please provide as much of the following information in your original post as possible:
-The schools you are considering
-The total Cost of Attendance (COA) of each. COA = cost of tuition + fees + books + cost of living (COL) + accumulated interest - scholarships. Here is a helpful calculator.
-How you will be financing your COA, i.e. loans, family, or savings
-Where you are from and where you want to work, and other places where you have significant ties (if any)
-Your general career goals
-Your LSAT/GPA numbers
-How many times you have taken the LSAT"

My own uninformed opinion is Duke is the sweet spot in price/placement ratio in the t14 unless you get a full ride somewhere.

I thought we decided the T13 was just trolling - T11 is in fact the legitimate ranking setup. Either way your point is still valid.Serett wrote:I mean, you want to go to a T13 school, don't you?

You used to be a Law Center! I don't know what you are anymore. A Lawless Center?! I guess the acronym would be the same.Capitol_Idea wrote:GU??!? Edit: If we can make Georgetown University Lawless Center catch on, I'd be very happy.

This. With GTTTown's employment stats they'd need to damn near give me a full ride to turn down Duke at that price.Capitol_Idea wrote:Also OP: go the fuck to Duke

The difference is like $20k once you factor in CoL. Either way, Duke wins easily.
