So I've been accepted at University of San Francisco , Santa Clara, and Golden Gate.
I've been awarded $29k from USF for my first year, and if I stay at a 3.0, $20k the next 2 years.
At Santa Clara its $25k all three years (3.0 rule applied)
and at GG a full ride ( 3.0 rule applied)
I have the option to commute to SF from Sonoma county and live rent free, which makes GG and USF even more desirable but I know Santa Clara is the top ranked out of all 3 with a pretty nice scholarship offer.
I'm mainly interested in criminal law (since thats what I focused on in undergrad) but am into exploring other options as well. I've visited all 3 campuses and found all of them impressive.
I guess my main question is, does ranking/reputation win out or does money saving? Is GG even worth considering over USF? Is Santa Clara worth moving for?

You need to retake the LSAT and get into schools that give you more than a coin-flips chance of getting a job as an actual attorney
Those stips are terrible, you'll most likely loose the scholarship

The general manager of a large chain restaurant or gym or hotel or bar or retail store has better employment outlooks than a law student graduating from any one of those schools...bmmlaw wrote:So I've been accepted at University of San Francisco , Santa Clara, and Golden Gate.

Okok I may be exaggerating...slightly. But please, please, please consider taking the LSAT again.
Edit: also, this question belongs in the "Choosing a Law School" thread and I also highly suggest you read some of the advice given there to people in similar situations as you

Please, please, please do more research before you commit to any of these.
Law school isn't, as most lay people believe, a sure way to riches. A bad decision like this will almost invariably lead to a miserable life with no foreseeable improvement.
