Choosing a school
I cannot decide
School A - Close to home, in-state tuition, waitlisted at, 69k,
School B - Tied in rankings with school A, 7 hours from home, 77k, best job placement but not in the southeast where I want to live/practice
School C - Not ranked in top 100, half tuition scholarship, 55k a year, 5.5 hours from home
Thoughts?

Re: Choosing a school
You have to give A LOT more information than what you gave. Specific schools, LSAT score, GPA, COA for each, where you want to practice and what your goals are. If you're iffy on naming the schools, LSAT etc. just remember that people on here are here to help.

LSAT is 151, GPA is 3.0,
School A is South Carolina will be 69 in debt after 3 years, I am waitlsited, If I were accepted I wouldnt even have to think.
School B is Louisville will be 77k in debt after 3 years, I do not know much about the area
School C is Samford will be 56k in debt after 3 years, ranking worries me, and not to sound snobby, but everyone I know who cant get in most places go there.
I want to practice is the Carolina's or at least the Eastern Coast. I am currently at the University of Tennessee.
Any other information I should put?
Thanks @TheMikey

In short: retake the LSAT and get a significant increase or don't go to law school.AKSN1146 wrote:LSAT is 151, GPA is 3.0,

What do you want to practice? Are you factoring in cost of living into your totals? All of these are objectively bad schools. Please do more research before applying to law school and the doors that particular schools open and close.

I would focus on getting in off the waitlist at South Carolina if that is where you are from and want to practice. Neither of the other two schools will help you reach your goal.
If you have only taken the LSAT once, you should study and retake. I know that is repeated all the time here, but you have a decent GPA and with a higher score I think you will be in at South Carolina. You only need a few more questions to be competitive for them. There are good self study guides here.

Here is a webinar that Spivey did about being on a waitlist. It might help you with South Carolina.

Retake dude. Don't settle for these options at these prices.

Assuming this isn't flame, with that GPA you must get close to 170 to even consider law school IMO. Don't go to any of the above schools. 3 years is a serious opportunity cost, and you're in a region that is flooded with lawyers.AKSN1146 wrote:LSAT is 151, GPA is 3.0,

Don't worry, you are not being snobby when you discount the prestige of Samford; just don't think that the other schools you mentioned are significantly stronger options

Went to UofL for undergrad. Highly advise against going there if you don't want to end up living in Louisville.AKSN1146 wrote:I cannot decide
