I cannot for the life of me understand going into deep debt, sacrificing a six figure job for unclear legal goals.

You have a 3.8 in STEM, you're definitely capable of scoring more than a 163... especially if you admit to not studying as hard as you should have. You can also definitely study while working full-time, assuming it's a 9-5 type gig. I studied while working 45 hours a week- my schedule was something like studying 3-4 hours 3 out of every M-TH and 1 out of F-Su. Besides the last 3 weeks when I didn't stay up/out late once and pretty much had no contact with the outside world, it was totally fine, perhaps even pretty nice.

If youre aet on going asap know this: SCU doesn't reach that we'll outside of the Silicon valley. To be specific SF and Eastbay get more difficult, nevertheless so. cal. If you want to go in that direction, go to Berkeley or USC. At the end of the day, the berkeley brand will take you farther.
