So I am currently winnowing down my choices for law school. My ultimate objective is to secure a federal clerkship and use that as a spring board to launch into a career as a federal prosecutor. Here are my top choices:
Notre Dame (25,000 per year)
WUSTL (40,000 per year)
U of Michigan (zilch)
Cornell
I love the Catholic allure of Notre Dame, and can honestly see myself attending the school. I only applied to University of Mchigan and WUSTL because they gave me a fee waiver; I wasn't seriously considering either school. Now that I have been accepted to both I am reconsidering my decision, especially with regard to Michigan. As a perennial top 10 school, the opportunities with a Michigan law degree could be phenomenal, but given my interest in government/public interest does the Michigan degree really give me an edge? WUSTL is also an excellent choice and they have offered me the most money. Cornell is the other Top 14 school I have been accepted to. I plan to visit all the schools to make a final decision, but was wondering what ideas folks had here
PS Still waiting to hear on Harvard JS2 hopefully next week..
