Re: UT-Austin or sit out this cycle?

It's really a question of whether or not you'd be happy to go to UT knowing that you COULD have gone to a better school. Because, you must be aware - those numbers COULD get you into a "better" school.Would you be happy going to UT know that you could have had your choice of schools in the lower t14? Some people don't have that option - but you do, so just make sure that your goals are in line with your decision.

Nothing wrong with sitting out a year and applying at the very start of the cycle next year. Having more options may make the decision easier... or it might make the decision harder. If I were in your situation, I'd sit out a year. Having more choices will likely lead to making a better decision - even if that decision is still UT next year. (And it may be.)
