COA
Vanderbilt.......... 156k
William and Mary. 108k (already negotiated)
Minnesota......... 98k
Davis.............. 58k (already negotiated)

[Schools I'm looking for more money from]
George Washington. 178k
Illinois............... 125k
Hastings..............147k (already negotiated)

[Schools I'm paying sticker]
Virginia....... 242k
Michigan..... 234k
Georgetown. 282k

I have little savings, which are already incorporated into the COA amounts. My parents can contribute 20-30k+, but that's coming out of their emergency savings, so I'd prefer not to use them.

Career preference = legal aid, public defense, non-profit, government, or other public interest (in that order). During school and after, I would happily drown myself in extracurriculars, volunteering, politics, and student life, as I am currently doing right now despite my full-time job.

I'm looking to end up in a major city in a blue state. I'm a city kid so I think I'd prefer to go to a city school, but I did do okay for 4 years in a rural college. (Opinions about optimal environment of law school are welcome.)

Highest LSAT was 170... GPA 3.3, my first LSAT score was 160 despite a few months of study.
