Georgetown v. GW

Post by BDMPKT » Mon Mar 21, 2016 8:15 pm

So I'm waitlisted at Georgetown, though my most recent LSAT score should get me over the hump and I've been admitted to GW. My wife and I are committed to the DC area where she will be working full time in the 60-70k range. GW is offering 25k per year and I doubt I'll get any money out of Georgetown. I also have ~10k in GI Bill benefits plus 8k in housing benefits (that can effectively be applied as I see fit) and I will be in the reserves making ~8k a year.

Long and short: Is the increased financial burden of Georgetown worth it? When I visited I liked it much more than GW, but I don't know if that's just a cosmetic interest. Open and welcome to any and all input.
