Calling all UNLV Law students!

Post by socaljd » Fri Mar 11, 2016 1:37 pm

Hi everyone, I was recently accepted to Boyd School of Law. Any Boyd students that have moved to Las Vegas from California to attend? I'm a little worried about moving there without any kind of network. I understand that a lot of students are commuters.

And yes, I have spent plenty of time in LV, outside of the strip.

I am not a UNLV law student, but I have to say that going to UNLV as an out-of-state student will likely be the worst decision of your life. The employment statistics are horrendous AND you will be at a disadvantage because you aren't a local. Retake the LSAT and get money at a legit school or don't go. Good luck.
