Re: USC$ v Michigan v Cornell v Georgetown
Just be patient and come on back when you have all of your offers. Also make sure to include all of the information that's asked for in the sticky.

Okay, I'll return when I hear back (assuming I do actually hear back )fliptrip wrote:Just be patient and come on back when you have all of your offers. Also make sure to include all of the information that's asked for in the sticky.

All good schools if the price is right, but it's too much for all of them. Even a 167 would do wonders here.

Also, you're underestimating your costs here. If you're assuming sticker price and financing entirely through loans, the numbers should be higher because of tuition increases and interest on the loans. For example, Cornell should be almost $300,000, not $240,000: http://www.lstscorereports.com/schools/ ... osts/2014/ . As much as I like Cornell, there's no way it's worth $300,000--at least not in your situation. Getting CA biglaw is definitely not a sure thing from here, and you don't sound sure about staying in biglaw for long. Same analysis goes for the other T-14s, and imo USC's debt is still too high considering its much lower biglaw chances.
Assuming no significant scholarships, I'd retake if at all possible.
