I was offered a full ride to the University of Louisville, and $30,000 (about 50%) to Kentucky. I am having a hard time figuring out if going into debt is worth it for Kentucky if I am planning on practicing law in Louisville anyways.
May hang up, as a non-trad student, is I own a house 40 minutes from Louisville and about 1:15 from Kentucky. So I would have to move for Kentucky.
Is Kentucky worth 30k plus move over a full ride at Louisville? They seem to have very similar employment stats.

Take Louisville. You will probably end up in a small firm, but only 18,000 in debt is pretty good. If you end up in top 5% of class you may be able to get mid law in Louisville or a larger law firm in Cincinnati.ukorul wrote:COA: UL 6k, UK, 36k

Yeah. OP, you're just making numbers up on the spot. Carefully calculate how much each is gonna cost. Louisville with no tuition is probably the better answer for you, and is defensible in your circumstances, but I'm concerned with how unclear this math is.A@M_or_bust wrote:I am confused by these calculations.
