Certain Personality Types for Certain Law Schools?

Post by RamTitan » Sat Oct 31, 2015 6:46 pm

Do certain law schools attract a particular type of student, or are all law schools the same for the most part? What I mean by this, in a purely hypothetical sense, does a school like UVA attract social Greek types and a school like Columbia attract hipsters? Or does everyone who go to the law school have a pretty similar personality?

There used to be a conservatives' thread but now it seems gone.

I think people go to certain schools and then drink the kool aid that the 2 and 3 Ls sell them. The cycle repeats. My school is super chill cuz we bought into it. It's not as if we all came to the same school because we are similar people (personality wise).

At my school in the south, a few of the failed T14 gunners mentioned only wanting to go to UVA or Duke. So I think yes certain schools attract certain types of ppl. I don't think everyone chooses a school based on what makes the most sense economically. Geography plays a big role too. Southerners are more likely to choose a southern school and vice versa for northerners. And of course there are prob more hipsters up north and more greeks in the south.
