Re: Northwestern or Georgetown?
Why on earth would you want to pay sticker for either of those schools

Do you have any other acceptances? Do you have any scholarships? Did you take either computer science, engineering, or physics in undergrad? Do you have work experience in a technical environment?

Yeah, my advice is go work as an engineer and see if you like it. Then consider law school.teresa-z wrote:No other T14. GW with 15k per year. Engineering major in undergrad. No WE. Any advice? Also as an international you're going to have a harder time landing a job in the US. You are pretty much ineligible for federal government jobs, etc. and some biglaw firms won't want to hire you because they don't want to deal with visa issues.

Re: Northwestern or Georgetown?
Ask GWU for more scholarship money due to your acceptances at Georgetown & Northwestern.

Assuming that robotics engineering is like mechanical or electrical engineering and your degree came from a reputable institution, you should be well-situated for patent practice.teresa-z wrote:Robotics engineering.NorCalLaw wrote:What was your engineering major?teresa-z wrote:No other T14. But are you planning to pay by taking out loans? Full price at these schools is no joke if you're taking on the entire burden yourself.

Probably a bad idea to go to either (or law school at all).
Gun to the head I pick any other T14 over GULC.
