While Chicago is worth $75k over GW easily IMO, I don't recommend attending any school at sticker. Are these your only options? Any T14 schools with money? Can you retake?

Based on his prior posts, OP is a rising 2L at GWU. Seems to be considering whether or not it is worth transferring to UChicago. More information is needed, in my opinion.

Correct.

Looking to go into big law M and A in New York or LA. GW does place in New York but very little LA placement.

Top 3% with moot court, mock trial (and I'm confident will have law review as well).

Why'd you go to GW if you don't want to practice in DC

I had already been working and living in DC for the past few years. I was between GW and GULC but took the $$.

Top 3% at GW will almost definitely net you NYC biglaw if you gun for it.

You really should provide more info if you want useful assistance, though. Three terse sentence fragments is incredibly weak.

In general, top 5% at GW will get you NYC BL if you do the regional OCI and bid NYC firms at FRP, so I wouldn't transfer if that's what you want. In terms of how well it would get you to LA, I can't hazard an educated guess without knowing what your CA ties are (if any).
