Which school?
I would prefer to work in the Southwest or Southeast. I will avoid the northeast at almost all costs. Looking for the law school that offers the best all around employment prospects. Looking for the school that offers the highest probability of earning a salary above $50,000 in a region with a low cost of living relative to the other regional options. Here are some schools I am considering and their respective cost of attendance after scholarships:
W&M - $58,950
Bama - $33,450
Emory - $92,388
ND - $67,440
Iowa - $50,790
I plan to finance each of these amounts with earnings from my spouse's income/savings.
I realize that these are all regional schools. I am not opposed to any of these regions. I have more ties to the first three than the last two but I do have some ties to the regions of the last two schools.
Which school would you advise me to attend? Why?

ND and Iowa don't make sense geographically so they are outminted wrote:I would prefer to work in the Southwest or Southeast. I will avoid the northeast at almost all costs. Emory is too expensive so that's out
Bama seems solid if you're from Alabama. Probably not a great chance of 50k+ salary but maybe.
W&M seems ok if you're from Virginia. Probably not a great chance of 50K+ salary but maybe.
How did you get Bama down to 33k? That won't even cover cost of living for one person.

Re: Which school?
Do you have a major preference between Virginia and Alabama? If Virginia, definitely try to negotiate with W&M using Alabama's offer(I don't know if William and Mary negotiates though)

If this is Bama I'd say Bama over all else. Depending on this answer, I'd probably still say Bama.Mullens wrote:Where are you and your spouse from?
