I'm just hoping they can just send $75k my way when people with full rides decline their offers of admission to go to other places. I want to go to IU badly. :P
Good luck! Keep us posted.

Thanks, my friends. I got into Wake Forest today with $25k/year. Do they realize that tuition is $41k? What's going on...

Truest thing you've said ITT yet.

Iowa has the best job data (not by much, but it does) and is the cheapest of the three but somehow it's third in your list because it's overrated?

If you prefer IU over IUB that's fine. They're peer schools and close enough that the job placement differences won't be too noticeable. But going to Iowa because you think it is falling and IUB is rising is flat retarded.

Just when I think you're starting to turn the corner from your shitposting ways, you show that you still haven't learned anything in your time here.

Is this real? Either way, as a Wake student I feel obligated to tell you (on the off chance this is a serious thread) to not come here if it's going to run you $100K total like it probably will with a $25K/year scholarship. Get it closer to a more realistic 1st year salary level (at most), so around 40-60K, and then maybe IF you want to practice in the immediate region. And then if you do poorly 1st year/semester, drop out. Though I would probably say this about every tier 1 outside of Vandy/UT/UCLA/etc.

Wake's employment numbers are inconsistent, and despite the slightly improving market, those numbers don't appear to be improving. It's a good place and the administration has some dignity, but there are too many true TTTs in this state (NC Central, Charlotte, and Elon need to die).

DaRascal wrote:Another thing I didn't mention earlier is that the full-ride to Iowa comes with the requirement that I work 10 hours/per week as a research assistant. It's the strangest scholarship stipulation I've seen, and I'd rather save myself the extra 130-150 hours per semester instead of doing menial work that wouldn't have any long-term benefits. The $100 of weekly pocket money in exchange for the 10 hours that could be spent studying would be a terrible trade-off. It really comes down to Indiana vs. Wake Forest.
