A C&F question, the only one for this school.

Are you aware of any other matter which might adversely affect your admission to this school or to the bar?

How does one answer that, is that essentially a wave through, or a catch all like a disorderly conduct charge in my state?


Possibilities that may or may not apply in general to anyone answering that

1) Yes, you may hate me.
2) I'm an URM, so probably a bump.
3) I'm a democrat/libertarian/republican/asshole and this is Mississippi.

It's a catch all for disciplinary action--whether it involve academic institutions or law enforcement--that may reflect poorly on your character and worthiness of being a member of the law community. Being unlikeable, a URM, or left-leaning has absolutely nothing to do with C&F.

How is that the only question? It specifically says "any other matter." That's a strong implication that there are other questions

No, but it could adversely affect one's admission to the school which is the first part of that statement. Also, plenty of C&F stuff wouldn't adversely affect bar requirements depending on where one were to apply to the bar. I figured it was a catch-all, just weirdly worded imo. It basically adds in all subjective information that may or may not be bar related, but could be school related. I'm going to answer it with the same disclosures I'd write anywhere else, I just thought it was weird.
