Re: Alaska Law School!!!
"The website says the school will operate in an Anchorage building off of the Delaney Park Strip while working to obtain space large enough to fit two ships -- an anonymous donation -- in the landlocked city of Fairbanks. The website implies law school classes and seminars will be conducted inside these ships, though it’s not completely clear."
Hey, if all else fails, 100% of students will be able to participate in the Maritime Law Practicum!

Re: Alaska Law School!!!
So here's why you literally must have no pre-frontal cortex functioning whatsoever to go to Alaska Law School:
~250k in debt for a market with 4 big law firms maybe taking on 1 associate each year!!!!
Even if the valedictorian lucks out, and is 1 of the 4 - Market is 88k! http://www.nalpdirectory.com/employer_p ... %2C3%22%7D.
What is 88k after taxes? 55k?
55k to support yourself (gas is ridiculously expensive in Alaska, like 2x anywhere else), groceries are absurdly expensive (like 2x anywhere else), and repay 250k.
Alaska's crazy cost of living is part of why it almost always has the highest mean income for any US state at a little over 50k.
