Has anyone ever been able to get their spot back after they didn't put a deposit down by the deadline, I have now realized a month after the deadline passed that I in fact do want to attend a school I previously decided against.

Yes it's possible. A school I had withdrawn from offered me an increased scholarship about a month after their deadline. It can't hurt to get in touch with the school and let them know your situation.

I did this for one school, although it was only a day after the deadline had passed.

The only way you know is if you ask.

You need to email the admissions department and ask to be reinstated and tell them you're ready to deposit. It would probably would help to explain why you didn't deposit in the first place.

Yea, you are paying them, not the other way around.

You can do it. Just email them and tell them you'll be sending the deposit. Make sure the spot is still available.
