BU or Fordham

Post by mcmenary » Mon May 05, 2014 3:31 pm

-The schools you are considering :

Fordham, BU,
-Fordham tuition/fees will be completely funded by the post 9/11 GI Bill and yellow ribbon scholarship. BU did not have any yellow ribbon slots open so the first year would cost around 1800.00 in tuition. (I have 25k merit scholarship there).
-The housing allowance from the GI Bill and book stipend will cover a good chunk of living expenses, but I have savings to cover anything left over. No other debt.
-From NJ/NY area, have lived in the south for undergrad and work(military).
-I would like a judicial clerkship before working for a DA office somewhere in the Northeast.
-Your LSAT/GPA numbers : 165/164 (scheduled to retake in June)., 3.4
-How many times you have taken the LSAT twice.

What do you mean by clerk?

Personally I would retake and try to go to NYU to put that GI bill to better use but between these two I would definitely roll with Fordham. BU doesn't really make any sense here.
