Hello TLS. Last minute decision has to be made!
Columbia $30000
Cornell Dean's Scholar $55,000/year. (I guess that's $165000 for all 3 years?)
I love Manhattan and want to land in a biglaw upon graduation, and Columbia would be
a great option. However, scholarship at Cornell will help me to be more financially stable.
Help me out!

Wow thats a great Cornell scholarship. Columbia isn't worth that much extra. Cornell will give you a very solid shot at NYC biglaw, and the greatly reduced debt burden will open up so much more career flexibility.

Cornell hands down. Cornell's niche is NYC biglaw, so no reason to pay that much extra $$ for CLS to end up with the same job in the same city.

If you're debt financing, Cornell. Columbia is worth some margin over Cornell but not this margin.
Re: living in nyc, if it makes you feel better you'll almost certainly spend summers and the next few yrs after graduation there anyway. Just bunker down for those Ithaca winters.
