Offered $75000 from UMich and $45000 from Georgetown.
Would like to work at a big firm in NYC or Chicago.
Haven't started financial aid negotiation with Georgetown, but as of now, what would be a better choice?

Um, Michigan by a mile. 25k a year at Michigan + much lower CoL in Ann Arbor > 15k a year at GULC + DC CoL.
I'm going to GULC in the fall and I still think this isn't even a question.

Michigan has higher BigLaw placement, has cheaper cost of living, and is offering you more money. I'm not sure why this is a question?

You should choose Michigan even when their offers are flipped.

Is this thread just anti-midwest trolling?
