I realize that, but no one cares about schools like UConn.

Stanford's undergrad campus is nice, the law school is ugly. Image

Definitely Stanford. On top of the camps being gorgeous, you just can't match the location of Stanford. Maybe that's just my bias from growing up near Stanford, but the whole area near Palo Alto, Los Altos, etc., is really tremendous and adds to the feeling when you're at Stanford or near the campus.

Michigan is pretty to look at until you realize you have to walk around in all that snow.

If we're going not just by buildings but by overall atmosphere, it's hard to beat Berkeley's courtyard with a direct view of the Golden Gate at sunset.

Agreed. Stanford's looks like a mental asylum.

I think myself and others were going with the overall feeling approach talked about above. Also, pretty sure opinions are allowed to be different from yours without it being trolling.

And with regards to the beautiful buildings at Michigan, and even places like Harvard, the whole snow thing does play a big role for some people. For me it looks great initially, but then is instantly followed with nothing but thoughts of how annoying that must be to live in. Typical sheltered Californian opinion, but still mine nonetheless.

ETA: that no doubt if we are talking strictly the buildings that say "X Law School" then that changes things. But you still are living near and walking by/through a lot of areas that aren't the "law campus" technically.

From one CA to MA transplant: It's not the snow, or even the cold, that's bad. It's the wind.

I lived in Ontario in Canada and hated the wind. Is it that windy in MA? How about New York? Is it windy there too?
It's windy in New York frequently. It's probably windier in SF though than in NYC but not as cold.

The Michigan campus looks really pretty. That's exactly what I pictured in my head as a typical beautiful American university campus before I moved to the U.S.

Inexcusable anti-Duke trolling

OP's thread is bad and OP should feel bad
