So here's my situation.
Cost: I've been offered a $30k/year scholarship at UPenn and a $15k/year scholarship at NYU. The price difference, of course, is exaggerated by the higher cost of living at NYU.
Public Interest:I'm interested in going into public interest, and I know that public interest is much more popular at NYU, although it seems that UPenn also has some excellent public interest programming, even if few of their students ultimately go into public interest. UPenn also has a higher percentage of students that end up with federal clerkships, which might be something that I'd be interested in.
Location: I am vaguely familiar with Greenwich Village, and it seems like an excellent place to live, filled with culture, great restaurants, bars, etc. I know almost nothing about Philadelphia or the part of Philadelphia at which UPenn is located. I've also been warned that there may be some crime issues in Philadelphia that I wouldn't have to worry about at Greenwich Village.
Thanks for your input!

Your thread title is deceptive. I came in thinking you had a higher scholarship at NYU. If you're 100% PI committed I'd still go to NYU.
