I want to practice law in southern california, but i was wondering if getting a degree at cornell would be any better than getting a degree at usc even if it meant going with no scholarship.
Thanks.

the total cost of usc is about 304k, and after scholarship will come out to be about: 214kbarrelofmonkeys wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=206299
the total cost of cornell is about 297k.
Both of these are coming from LST: http://www.lstscorereports.com/state/CA/
I will be planning to finance my debt through student loans.
I am from southern california and i want to work there too. Hopefully, I would like to pay off student loans within 5 - 10 years.
my LSAT is 167, and my GPA is 3.69, and I have taken the LSAT once.
Sorry and thanks.

Yeah, you gotta retake. USC's biglaw numbers aren't good enough to get you anywhere close to a guarantee of a job that will service 214k in loans, and 300k at Cornell/anywhere for biglaw is nuts.
